Våpensmia is a fine mechanical manufacturing company with a CNC based production. Our business concept is development, production and sales of weaponry, opthical sights and other services for defence and law enforcement.

Våpensmia defence products 
Våpensmia is an AQAP 2110 Ed D certified company. We are producing optical sights for the 40 mm Automatic Grenade launcher (AGL), .50 cal, M 72 and  7,62 mm GPMG. We are also producing VSM 034 FCU, a programmable unit for Nammo 40 med mer HEDP-RF ammunition.
All Våpensmia sights have ballistic reticules because we belive that a ballistic reticule makes it easier to rapidly change between targets at different distances, compared to a red dot sight where the operator have to set the distance by pushing buttons or turning a cam. The ballistic reticule on our sights are covering the full range of the weapon, and all Våpensmia sight are fully operational with NVG.
The fedback from the operators is that our sights perform well in dusk/dawn conditions, and is user friendly. inimal training required.

Vapensmia AS has since 1988 met the requirements for quality set by the Norwegian Defence Materiel Agency. Today Vapensmia is audited by AQAP 2110 Ed D. The certificate ensures the quality and the safety that our customers expect regarding all purchases from our company.

 
 
Våpensmia reflex sights for 40 mm AGL/GMG
Våpensmia have three different sights for 40 mm. The VSM 028 are developed to give the shooter a bigger field of view, most suited for vehicle and vessel mounted weapons. The VSM 015, and the VSM 015 extended base are also suitable for carry along weapons because of its smaller size. VSM 015 have been in service for the last 30 years. VSM 028 and VSM 015 Extended base in service since 2019.

The Våpensmia VSM 028 reflexsight for 40 mm Automatic Grenade launcher (AGL) is designed for use as the main sight for 40 mm AGL. The sight have LED illumination and picatinny mounting. The reticule image is reflected through the beam splitter  and displayed as luminous lines against the target. Field of view is 120x80 mm.

Våpensmia VSM 015 extended base reflexsight for 40 mm AGL with beta light or LED illumination. The sight is offered with picatinny base. The extended base gives the shooter a better position firering from a tripod.

Våpensmia FCU in scattered mode and Nammo 40mm HEDP-RF ammuniton

Våpensmia have developed a Fire Control Unit for Nammo 40mm HEDP-RF ammuniton. The unit can be mounted on any 40 mm weapon, making it possible to use airburst ammunition. The FCU have picatinny interface.

Våpensmia have two different sights for .50 cal. The VSM 029 are developed to give the shooter a bigger field of view, most suited for vehicle, helicopter or vessel mounted weapons. The VSM 0009 are also suitable for carry along weapons because of its smaller size. VSM 009 have been in service for the last 30 years. VSM 029 in service since 2019.

Våpensmia reflex sight for M-72
Våpensmia have developed a click on click off sight for the Nammo M-72. The sight is mounted directly on the sightadjusted M 72 rail on the right or left side on the weapon.

VSM 032 Våpensmia tactical sling with a quick release cobrabuckle

VSM 032 is a very robust sling with the patented Cobra buckle from Austria Alpin. We have used robust quality buckles, to secure stability, and a optimal functionality.
The sling is secured by a robust plastic buckle, which is easy to release, and the length of the sling can be adjusted according to your individual preference. The rubber band in the lowest part of the sling makes rapid movement more convenient for neck and shoulders.
Without taking of the sling, the operator can release the weapon by the cobra buckle in a quick manner, going in and out of vehicles.
The sling can be used both as a one and two point sling, by mowing the carabiner mounted in the ring too the weapon, the sling turns into a two point sling.
Easy, fast and safe.

The Våpensmia VSM 031 poppers are developed for defence and police. The poppers is usable for many disiplinec, such as longrange, handguns. and hunting practise. The VSM 031 Popper setup consists og a popper with a control box and a led lamp. The VSM 031 Duell Popper consists of two poppers, one control box and two led lamps. VSM Popper is available with two target sizes  IPSC Mini popper 200 mm og IPSC Popper 300 mm (Hardox 600)
